Priorities and Beliefs

Priorities

Everything we do as a family will find its foundation in these priorites. These core priorities are the pillars for the direction and legacy of our family.

Bible Based: The Bible will serve as the basis for how we will live as a community.

Jesus Centered: To be like Jesus is the goal of every Christian.

Family Emphasis: The family is the foundation of the church.

Neighborhood Network: Our surrounding neighborhood will drive the context of our church’s mission.

Group Growth: We grow better in community than by ourselves in study and ministry.

Servant Leaders: Leadership without personal sacrifice is self-serving.

Church Planting: We want to be a church that creates churches that create churches.

Simple Strategies: Simplicity makes room for growth and flexibility.

Beliefs

We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the grave and ascended to heaven where He is our Advocate.

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict people of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service.

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, without error in the original writings, and is the final authority for all Christians.

We believe in God’s saving grace that calls all people to respond in faith through repentance, confession, baptism, and a new life and ministry through the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all humankind: the believer in Christ into everlasting joy, and the unbeliever into everlasting punishment.
