Children's Ministry
At Common Ground, we love children. But more than that, we love their families. Our goal as a Children's Ministry is to help build strong families. We believe that you will experience love, support and encouragement to build a home that looks more and more like Jesus each day.
Our Children's Ministry reaches birth through 5th grade. You will exprience a ministry that is safe, fun, exciting, loving, nurturing and energetic. From the songs that they sing to the activities they'll be a part of, you will see a very intentional and pesonal approach to engage your child as he or she begins his or her faith walk.
The learning that takes place in Kid City is energetic, child-focused, uplifting, encouraging, creative, and age-appropriate. It's a place where kids can connect with peers and caring adults, have fun, and learn all about Jesus and His awesome love!

Parkside - Birth to Kindergarten
Our nursery is staffed with knowledgeable, caring volunteers and is a place where babies as young as 6 months will hear simple lessons about God and His blessings. We believe that even young children can learn through stories, songs, and interactive activities.
In the toddler and 4s-Kindergarten classes, children are led through various activities such as play centers, craft time, worship songs and Bible lessons through the fun and creative Lil' K videos, and a simple review time to talk about what was learned.
In Parkside, your child will gain the basic knowledge about Jesus and the Bible that he or she needs to grow! Also, Map Books are sent home weekly so that you can follow our teaching as well and share in the lessons with your child throughout the week.

The Heights -1st through 5th grade
Step into The Heights and find a town built just for kids! Here, 1st - 5th graders are encouraged to learn about God personally, to connect with classmates and friends, and to participate in and share with both large and small groups.
A typical morning in The Heights isn't complete without some games, worship songs, solid Bible teaching from the Kidmo videos, small group sharing time, memory verses, and a little good-natured competition! A Map Book is sent home on a weekly basis as well to keep the lessons fresh and applicable throughout the week.
